Relative to BPs effort to just cap the well
and run, last night on CNN, I watched a report
with someone with the group of Parish officials
who had planned a meeting with BP officials.
The gentleman said not only had BP officials
ignored their appointment, but added that the
sentiment with BP now was that they had capped
the well and that they were "fed up" with the
people and their concerns. BP is ready to pack
it in and move to other projects.
My note~~meanwhile, the oil is still in and
under the water. The Corexit is still in
the air and the water. Personally, I think
the Obama administration better be holding
this company responsible for a lot more than
he has. I also want to know why the orders
to stop spraying the Corexit were ALLOWED to
be ignored. To BP, the people are nothing...
the bottom line is their profit margin.
