Long story short - Desiree Jennings was a happily married 25-year-old Washington Redskins cheerleader who worked in marketing and loved running. Shortly after getting a flu shot - she developed bizarre symptoms: "...fever and painful body aches. The symptoms quickly progressed until she could only walk with a twisted, halting gait, and had trouble reading, doing simple math -- even remembering things." When she turned to chelation - doctors across the country began to attack her.
