it was a very wierd thing to see. I posted because I really wanted to know if anyone else had seen anything & I stand behind what I saw.

As far as the cable tie, this was a big pipe, the cable tie is just wrong, not strong enough, no way comparable to any of the uses you suggested. If Bp realy uses plastic cable ties, then it's not surprisiing their well went burst.

Today coming home from our shop, we saw an EPA truck with a crisis response truck in the lead. It could be from the oil slick, or maybe something else, but it was not a figment of my imagination. I have to live with the decisions I have in front of me, and all of the options just stink, along with everyone else living near the gulf. I live just above Tampa, I can't imagine what it would be like to live in Lousianna, I have a company I buy from located in Layfayette, I talk to them all the time, and they are besides themselves with worry.
