First of all it is interesting to note that most people use far than less than 10 % of their mental potential. Why? Also add to that our"junk" dna (dna that has been turned off according to some). is non functional. There are many limiting physical signs and far more mental limitations within our psyches. We have a prevelence for psychological learned fears. We tend to hover in the lower emotitonal energies unless we apply awareness through experience (our default is basal)
In studying alternative history one comes up against a prevailing theme that man was manipulated in key ways in order to create a docile, subservient being. On top of this, we have a massive infleucneial collective force that continually works to influence and shape our mental contructs in order to have us create a specific reality within a very narrow field of focus.
The trouble is that consciousness, when it becomes aware of its limitations, can then expand beyond them and because body follows mind (they are actually the same). In other words by being aware of influences and conditioned limitation codes we can reshape our realities and recreate ourselves at all levels. Most people are not aware of this and remain hobbled. If you have studied any Bruce Lipton you will see what the human potential truly is.
Remember the story of the trained elephant that has its rear leg tied to a stake in the ground? When it is older and more powerful, even with the stake removed, it will not move beyond where it has been trained to be. Powerful notion that translates to how we have been socially engineered by TPTB. There are many levels to this.
We can only respond based on our psychological freedom to do so. Many of have many layers of filters which influence our ability to respond and the response itself.
Yes our minds are a tool. A great question is are we maximizing its use or has it been shaped for limitation?
What can we do to regain our freedom in this regard?
