I just wanted to share that I have genital herpes and it seems to act up in my leg and back as well, so it is quite uncomfortable although not intolerable. I have noticed it is acted up by gluten and dairy mainly because my body seems to have a sensitivity to these foods, however, when I have the outbreak, my body is not hungry! My body naturally wants me to fast and wants me to drink TONS of water. So, just listen to your body, it is always telling you what it wants to heal.
