May be it's trichinosis (not to be confused obviously with trichomoniasis). That's a parasite you can get from eating raw meat.

I also am going the route most likely of buying the ivermectin and the albendazole.

I hope he responds with the right medication protocols. I, like you, is starting to lose a little faith with the holistic remedies (which are good at fending off the common cold and other low grade infections) and think that meds are the way to go.
