I had just a limited experience with Lugol's. It felt like the action was mainly in my stomach. I take Iodoral, 50 mg three times a day at meals. It's action feels "later," like in my small intestine. I seem to feel the iodine start dispersing when it hits the right place. May be my imagination LOL. I'm always layering different types of iodine, and in your situation I could see me taking part of the 216 mg as Iodoral and finishing up with Lugol's. And I always like a bit of SSKI to "brighten" the Lugol's or Iodoral. That may just be me, though. :) I'd want to test out how much Iodoral I could handle at once, because it can have a bit of a kick. I like that, as I think of it controlling candida in the small intestine.
