I agree about draw backs of Antibiotics , that's exactly why I have been trying all kinds of alternative methods for the past three months. I do NOT want to take Antibiotics , but will consider them, when all else fails, in desperation as a last resort. And so far, I have not been very successful.
I cannot tolerate milk products, so no kefir for me. But I have been making kombucha ( fermented green tea) and drinking it three times daily for the past five years, and recently started making my own sauerkraut. There should be some friendly bacteria in my interior.
