Well, I guess ya'll know I am still having issues. BUT, this 9th month was better than April and May. The pain in my leg/back/hip/foot was so bad I could hardly walk. June wasn't nearly as bad and so far July is ok. By OK I mean I still hurt but not as bad. The numbness in my foot seems less, and my leg hardly hurts. My back still hurts 24/7 but it hasn't flared up beyong bearing in a while. I still have NOOOO energy. But I am hoping maybe months 6 and 7 were "crash" months and I'm mending.
Also, I was 2 days away from getting an epidural shot in my last disc for the pain when the condom broke!!! Since I got pg immediately with my son, I canceled. I'm glad I did because with my medical luck they probably would have injected me with ebola by accident. And since I'm better witout the shot maybe it wasn't spinal stenosis after all!!!
Now, I swore I would never take fake hormones again, but the problem is they WORK for birth control! And I swear I was pregnant those 2 weeks--I had all the symptoms I had with my son, then my period was late. Then it wasn't the normal 3 drops, it was kind of heavy. So even though I don't exactly want another child I hate that my hormones are so messed up I probably couldn't sustain a pregnancy anyway. Are y'all on hormonal birth control???
Thanks for letting me vent. I hope we all get better and better with time. There are over 5,000 negative comments about Mirena on medications.com so I think the word is out.
