There is no way that I would use white vinegar - I mainly use that only for cleaning around my house. The difference is probably due to the enzymes present in ACV. You DO want to use Bragg's RAW ORGANIC Apple Cider Vinegar.

Have you ever heard of The Body Ecology Diet? Using ACV is a big part of it. Here is good article about ACV on their web site. (By the way, you can also sign up for their free newsletter and get it via email). I don't follow everything with their diet but her book contains lots of good information about digestion and using fermented sauerkraut, ACV, etc. You can search through their web site for other articles.

Here is a link to the Bragg's apple cider vinegar web site. Their book (dedicated to ACV) is also filled with testamonials about the use of ACV.

Also, you can read a lot about ACV testamonials out at earthclinic.com

I've also started using Xylitol in my fiber shake as I believe it also is anti-fungal and can also help to release junk off your intestines and improve motility!

Hope this helps with your decision!
