If you can purchase thai young coconuts and break them open for the water this is ideal vs. relying on the packaged brands. A bonus is you can use the coconut meat for desserts or add it to your fruit or green smoothies.

I really envy you. I have been very unsuccessful in trying to break a coconut.  If you have some secret please share it with me. I always end up throwing the whole thing away.  First, we need to know how to get the water out without contaminating it.  Next, we need to know how to get it broken to get out the meat.
