I have considered waiting 2 to 3 weeks myself but there appears to be to schools of thought about the time interval. The purist stance which is to wait for the stones to move forward into position or the more flushes the better. There are some individuals who report flushing twice a week with good results.

As I won't be able to flush over the next few weeks I be able to see what happens with a longer rest period.
