I can only speak from experience.
My hair analysis showed huge amount of toxicity in many heavy metals and a bit of a deficienty in copper. It was my understanding that we tend to be copper deficient (never read about it being the other way around w candida) and sunflower being a great source of copper I made a point in eating plenty (protein+copper). Now and then, I seem to crave sunflower. I have supplemented in many - many things but never felt the need to do that with copper.
