I have muscle twitching and spasms that I've tried everything to solve.
I have adrenal fatigue and hypothyroid...and I know I have very low sodium and potassium levels. I supplement for these along with calcium and mag. I wonder if I have Lyme disease.
My question is can low Iodine cause severe muscle spasms and twitching? Does it effect the nervous system? I've read all over and don't see info on this.
When I take kelp I feel better but today when I took it I'm having some tingling in my ns. Yes I have toxic metals yes I take meds.
Any info you have about Iodine being a source of this problem would be greatly appreciated!
