Trick I've found works well to get the Epsom Salt down :

Put half an inch or so of HOT water into a glass, put your tablespoon of Epsom Salts in and stir, that'll completely dissolve the Epsom Salts .

You can either drink that - a concentrated solution of Epsom Salts thats gone in 1 second flat, or you can put a little apple juice in the glass, the salts will be disolved far more and will go down more easily.

Personally I go with the first option and then wash my mouth out with some apple juice (holding my nose the entire time), and follow it all up with a few tic-tacs to get the taste away ASAP.
