I'd like to know if anyone has received HRT in Canada, either through their doctor or naturopath. Although I assume NDs can't prescribe hormones and will want to treat with herbs?

A brief history of my issues:

About three years ago I started having severe fatigue, joint pain, poor wound healing, profuse sweating and recurring infections. I had a few blood tests, two ultasounds, colonoscopy, etc. but never really got to the root cause of the issues. All I got for my trouble was a long list of conditions that they couldn't/wouldn't do anything about (Fatty Liver, Enlarged Spleen, Hiatus Hernia, Acid Reflux, Diverticulitus and Prostatitis. :-)). I've also been experiencing low body temperature lately, but I feel warm (heat intolerant), as opposed to the cold intolerance I would expect with Hypothyroid.

The fatigue has improved with supplements and the infections have been better with several rounds of Cipro. My MD would not do a male hormone panel, so I recently ordered my own saliva test (no results yet). I'm also trying to find a new MD/ND to get to the bottom of the current issue(s).

So I'd like to know if anyone has found satisfaction with a clinic in the Toronto area, with similar issues/HRT.
