DON'T DO THIS AT HOME YOU MIGHT KILL YOUR SELF:

I read an article recently May 2010 in a magazine I think discover magazine. But I can't find it. I was looking For it or other good hints to gi fauna restoration after taking several courses of Antibiotics this year.

The article was a little unpleasant but the cure was very effective and fascinating. After six months of terrible bed ridden gastrointestinal distress because of repeated courses of Antibiotics , a woman finally reluctantly agreed to a feces or Fecal Transplant there's a wiki about the subject (not the woman) under fecal bacteriotherapy. I am not kidding. She was infused through a tube in her stomach with her husbands feces screened for hepatitis and other badies. She was cured in one day. Sounds like a super avoid and all costs last resort so I was looking here for a more acceptable safe and self administered alternative.
The fermented vegetable idea is intriguing. But thought you would like to know about this other idea if your desperate to restore gut flora for what ever reason. dadob
