Hi, Mighty Sun Tzu,
First of all, Vidda, congratulations, and I have really appreciated it whenever you have posted. Mighty, I am just posting to say that I have read your notes here with great interest. I have been (back) on this forum for a little bit and did a 4 1/2 day fast a bit ago (a big deal for me) and will start a new fast within a few days. I hope for 7 to 21 days. This would be a wonderful experience. My body wants a long fast (14- to 21-day range at least) but I am still learning to stop the emotional eating. I think I have a good mental preparation/strategy now... though it will still be exceedingly challenging mentally/emotionally. I am just writing to say that I hope you will be around because it sounds to me like you are aware of issues/concerns that I also happen to have in fasting and it seems like you have a similar perspective. So I am declaring the intention to start fasting soon and wanted to let you know! How is your fast going??? Regards,
