I just completed day four out of 25-35 days (I'll stop when I feel those "sharp" pains that supposedly come). My question is, was it normal that I didn't experience any uncomfortable feelings of hunger?
I'm assuming its because I weigh 245lbs (now 233lbs) at 6' that meant my body was okay making the transition over. It might not hurt that I am only 20 years old. I am surprised though as my last meal was a Large Dairy Queen Blizzard. I am working the entire period of this fast (minus weekends) and haven't seen a drop in energy levels one bit (I was working out 4-5 times a week for the past 4 months [lost 20lbs from that]). This is my first fast longer than 72 hours. I am doing this fast to begin a weight loss program to help push me towards a goal weight of 180lbs.
Also if someone would look over my plan that would be great:
Breaking the fast:
Juice fasting for 5 days, I went through an entire grocery store today (didn't eat a thing) and bought 6 half gallon bottles of organic fruit juices (no added sugar) that will be diluted in water.
Also bought a case of 33 V8 Low Sodium Vegetable Juice cans that I will drink diluted as well if I can handle the acidic taste.
The following 7 days will be Low Sodium Progresso soups that are under 300 calories a can, unleavened gluten free crackers, apples, raisins, pears, and watermelon plus unsalted and raw walnuts, pecans, soy nuts, and almonds.
Depending on how much weight I lose I will then transition into either the Nutrisystem meal plan ($10 a day) or begin a Liquid Slim Fast plan (3 cans x 300 calories + soup for dinner) to reach my goal weight.
