It is 9 am Friday morning...sugar came down to 157 all on it's own! So I went down to 5 units of long acting insulin at 6 am (from 10 yesterday) and just see what happens. I'm assuming the same pattern of highs but where I am still not completly off insulin that might be contributing to highs in itself...we will see. pending results today going to wean down a little more tomorrow.
