Hello my name is Allie - I'm new here.

I have always been healthy – never smoked – I am acutely aware of how nutrition plays a role in our lives – and now I have been told that I suffer from acute Osteoporosis.

Thank you for this site. I am 46, I have very, very brittle bone -4.5 - and I have never felt so scared in my life. I see the Chief of endocrinology at Women and Brighams, I see an Orthopedic surgeon and I see a Chiropractor (who has helped me with the neck and back pain – it is amazing how much he has helped me).
I take 70mg of Fosomax (I haven’t been faithful to the Fosomx - I hate what it does to my tummy).

Not everyone understands this horrible disease. I feel so alone.
