Guess not, this is pretty rare. I had a consultation with a doc named Dr. Norman from parathyroid center in Flordia... he wanted to go ahead with surgery, while docs in my home town thought it wasn't necessary at all to do surgery. I had a sestimibi scan showing an adenoma, but with "normal" calcium levels, docs are so hesitant to move ahead. Why is this?
