Hi - I just checked one of my books, and learned that lemon water is good for cleansing the kidneys. My earlier advice to temporarily stop taking it was not good. Your feeling that you should continue it was correct.

"The Liver and Gallbladder Miracle Cleanse" by Andreas Moritz has good information on kidney cleansing. He recommends majoram, cat's claw, comfrey root, fennel seed, chicory herb, uva ursi, hydrangea root, gravel root, marshmallow root, and golden rod herb for cleansing the kidneys. Apple juice and cranberry juice are also good for the kidneys.
