 It is hard to say. Some foods such as beets can color the urine red. And some dyes used in foods can do this. There are also medications such as azo ganastrin can turn the urine red. There is also the possibility that it is blood in the urine, which can be from a stone or infection. Any other symptoms? Pain or fever?
