Hey Rock Star,

Exciting times these :).

I believe your body did fine with pumpkin seeds and pasta on day 2 because and only because you reached completion in your fast.

I know what you mean about testing your limits as i have a tendency on occasion to do the same while also having a tendency most of the time (also as you do) to live within the guidelines and limitations i know i should :).

In breaking my recent 30 day "uncompleted" fast, i got ill twice testing my limits... the first time with a half handful of raisins at about 24 hours,  then with a handful of almonds about 8 days in, both times wrongly sensing and believing my body was ready to handle it and mistakenly "listening to my body" as to what it was greatly craving in spite of what i had predetermined i should do.

By contrast, in the fast where i reached "completion" about 9 months earlier i had no trouble at all with a like amount of almonds on day 4 and then raw salmon on day 5, until which time "genuine hunger" continued to taunt me :). I don't sense that this hunger is continually nipping at your heals as it was with me... or is it?

In my experience, juice alone soon became unable to satiate me, then fruit alone was not enough, then the same happened with vegetables.  Only once i had salmon on day 5 did genuine hunger finally cease to pursue me.  This has only ever happened with the completed fast and was never the case in the many uncompleted fasts i experienced.
