the whole issue with bone density loss is attributable to a lack of sufficient alkaline forming substances in the body. Hence the loss of the major minerals from the bones, where they are plentiful. One of the best ways to handle this is to use Coral Calcium sachets,(www.gohtn.net) which are 'ionically' charged, much like the green foods we eat. For humans elemental calcium must by synthesized through the vegetable kingdom before we can actually absorb it. Hence the efforts by the health products industry to offer the ever 'more absorbable' acids to break down the elemental calcium. At best we absorb only about 15% of such intake. One would ideally also change the diet to include lots of green fresh or lightly steamed veggies high in natural calcium, magnesium and other essential minerals, as well as avoid too many animal proteins, separate heavy starches from dense proteins at the same meal and absolutely avoid sugary foods and white flour.

In addition, adding a natural progesterone cream to the regimen has shown to build bone density. This is not the synthetic version the medical profession tends to prescribe. If you are wanting more info, please do a search on Natural Progesterone Cream and or go visit Dr. John Lee's website, who was instrumental in bringing this to the forefront. Good Luck, ask away if you have questions.
