I have tried coconut oil. I did not get any stones but instead got quite a bit of green foam and small green leaf looking particles. also, I felt great afterwards, as I do when I use olive oil, with no gallbladder pain and better digestion. so, perhaps it may not be as effective but it certainly does something.
