 I have always used pau d' arco for tooth infections. It contains 18 antiseptics and 5 anti-inflammatories. You can either make the tea by boiling it for 20 minutes or take 1/2 teaspoon of the powder or 3 capsules 3 times daily at least 20 minutes before meals. This will also help take care of any bacteria working its way in to the bloodstream, which is the biggest concern with dental surgery.
