Lugols has been available for hundreds of years. I can't find one negative thing published about it until recently. It is only large doses that are controversial. Start with a low dosage and gradually increase. Don’t take more than you can handle, and you will do well. Even if you don’t use it for detoxification purposes, one drop of 2% Lugols every few days is great for stopping Iodine deficiency.
