If you want to get that position you'd get more of in a third world situation, you can put a short stool under your feet to raise your knees-- Or, say, a couple of phone books. :-)
This shortens the toilet.

Then, to really get the full authentic experience, (well, of a Turkish hotel that is, with NO toilet tissue in sight) you can buy one of these clip on contraptions that go right on top of your existing seat, and squirt you with some cool water they get from being hooked up to the toilet intake.

This happens when you -in the case of the Turkish Hotel, give up and- flush.
