Hi Comsat2,

"There are two more things that popped up in my mind: did you eat Ceviche (the raw fish national dish of Peru) while there? Did you drink Pisco Sour while there (it's made with raw eggs, apart from the alcoholic/lime stuff)?"

I had both in Peru, the Ceviche I had in Iquitos. Neither of these foods made me sick at the time though.

I have tried and tried, I'm not sure if it's because of our socialized health care system (I live in Canada). But they simply don't take my case seriously. Like I mentioned before I ended up going to the emergency room 4 times, 3 of those times were in different hospitals hoping we would find someone who cares. :( My problem is that I don't show any external signs of sickness, other then the on again, off again diarrea... So unless I'm dieing this minute, and I show obvious symptoms, they don't care :(
Regarding the weight loss, I told them this at every occassion, they would dismiss it as being normal.

"Salmonella and amoeba usually come with a fever; but who knows?"

Not once during this entire time did I ever get a fever, would Humaworm take care of these two bugs if I did have them?

I seems that I have seriously messed up my life now :( Its soo depressing if I have developed a chronic condition from this. Today my symptoms were a severe headache for most of the day (something I used to never ever get), and right now I'm suffering from insomnia again and passing lots of gas (no pain at least :) ... I'm going to try to get some sleep again... So tell me your story Comsat2, thanks for being an ear for my complaints...
