Nature is about to beat the snot out of humans. I can feel it.

"Wasn't it humans who drilled this in the first place and assured us they could handle any possible blowouts?"

What possible blowouts? A blowout was "virtually impossible" according to the reports. Also, if a virtually impossible blowout were to happen, the response would be so swift and effective that no serious damage would occur.
