I went to the doctor about 7 years ago and when he walked in he looked at me and said "you look iodine insufficent" don't know what made him say that, maybe skin tone, dark circles under eyes, constantly sick? and recommended salt with it in it. maybe I should have kept on that!  I'm picking some iodine up on monday, will get the salt tonight, is it bad to take both at the same time, will that be too much?
