Off the top of my head, add alpha-lipoic acid [thioctic acid], silymarin, and selenium as well to the milk thistle.

For example, let's pick on Selenium. It comes in common inorganic forms such as selenite or selenate. Selenomethionine is another popular form, it tends to accumulate in tissue through. Se-Methylselenocysteine (SeMC) does not accumulate in tissue, but has potent anti-cancer activity.

A combination of the differing types may work best.
