Re' the role of Vitamin C

Natural and synthetic L-ascorbic acid are chemically identical and there are no known differences in their biological activities or bioavailabilities.
101. Gregory JF, 3rd. Ascorbic acid bioavailability in foods and supplements. Nutr Rev. 1993;51(10):301-303.

It is also true to say that scurvy will only respond to natural forms of whole-complex Vitamin C, but synthetic forms have been very successfully used (cured) against such diseases as poliomyelitis, eisenmenger syndrome, viral pneumonia and Multiple Scelorosis, to name just a few............

The poster who stated that "Carbohydrates Kill" has made a rather sweeping statement that is inaccurate and misleading.

There is a huge distinction between consuming refined carbs' and natural complex carbs' in any beneficial or adverse health effect..........

I am sure also that the Innuit diet is highly beneficial to health, and as I understand it is eaten in a mostly raw state.
Not very appealing to me, but each to their own.
