Dr. Lam, I have consistently experienced negative reactions to D-Ribose, and I am wanted to hear your interpretation of this. The reaction is different from other overstimulation reactions. It feels very much like my body is getting something it doesn't know how to use. I have what seems like SNS activation, but different than the typical stuff. I break out in a sweat, frequent urination, and incredible hunger for about an hour or so. My metabolism seems to accelerate, but it certainly doesn't feel good. A small dose seem to trigger this, but a 4-5 dose gets me every time--although I typically have only taken this when I am experiencing severe fatigue. Obviously, I've discontinued this, but is this something you've encountered and what do you think it means? Thanks!
