Antioxidants protects cells... the problem is, they can also protect BAD (cancer) cells... "oxidation" is not only a bad thing but also a way your body uses to literally destroys bad cells before the problem goes really bad (cancer). So taking high doses of antixodants can be a bad idea as the researchers you mention discover...

Antioxidants? ok, but in normal dosage...
