I have a total cholesterol of 104 (87 HDL, 17 LDL). I'm having HUGE problems with hormone imbalance (perimenopause - 43 years old). I can't take HRT because my body is super sensitive to hormone changes - the lowest does of estrogen makes me dizzy, headachy, 5 lbs of weight gain in 2 days, and progesterone lowest does causes disassociation, foggy thinking, migraines, you name it. What do you think about supplementing with pregnenolone? My cortisol is verging on too high, too. I eat well, exercise about 1 hour every day. ARGHHH! : )
