Valtrex and acyclovir are antiviral medication. Technically they should not have an impact on candida as Antibiotic will cause Antibiotics kill all the bacteria which compete with candida for space.

However I remember a post from Mushroom, who did many experiments in order to better understand candida and he had a hunch at some point candida might depend on the presence of a virus in order to be able to better develop... and I had thought this to be very possible.

For your sinus, you should rinse them sinus plenty with a saline solution from the drugstore.
