Thanks Willow!! yessiree, it's an amazing feeling to see that bottle of zoloft sitting there and know that i don't have to take it. I can face life on life's terms now. (that's a good old AA saying)

Talk about something to smile about...
Remember that book, Little Rascal? Out of print now... I've always loved raccoons b/c of that book. Anyway I think i have a new raccoon friend.
We have lots of raccoons around here. I often see a mama raccoon leading her young'uns to our trash dumpsters. They make a terrible mess, but I just love seeing the mom & her babies sneaking around... A coon has to do what a coon has to do.
I sit outside my front door in a rocking chair with my laptop. My apt doorway is at the back of our complex, near a wooded greenbelt-type area. Several times now a raccoon has come wandering up and sits underneath a nearby stairwell about 3 feet away, peering at me through that little black mask. It's as if it's curious about me... A couple times now i haven't been able to resist and i talked to it gently. It ran away both times. 8-(
MissH, your post (birds nests) brought to mind my latest encounter w/ the raccoon tonight... So I took an apple out by the rocking chair and left it.
TOO FUN!!! I just now checked and sure enough, the apple has been eaten, all except the core!! Which was left just inches from where I left the apple.
Guess raccoons don't like cores either.
Now... gotta go google healthy foods for racccoons.
Goodnight all. Thanks so much for the encouragement.
