Reminds me of how the CIA craftily created the derogatory term "conspiracy theory" to be used as a way to stop critical examination of government activity ore lest one be labeled a kook.

It is also like how christians see and label most other belief systems as a cult yet ignore the same measuring stick on their own belief.


I find these things are just more ways to redirect the flow of open exploration of belief systems and divert into weird and strange flows (walling off).
