..De nada Cisco :-),
I have found that the orientation and placement of the cheese grater array in reference to your feet makes a huge difference in the effect of the bath.
Up until now, I have had the graters facing flatside forward, held in position between my feet by clamping them with my feet.
Yesterday for the first time, I turned the grater array 90 degrees, so that it was parallel to my feet and between them. I held them in position with my hands since I didn't have anything else nearby.
The effect of the foot bath was markedly stronger this way.
I have also discovered that if I reverse the grater array (So that neg is toward the left foot for 5 min, then turn it toward the right foot for 5 min) about every 5 minutes, it seems to have a stronger effect.
I have discovered that "ouch-hot" water is way too hot, and leaves my feet hurting. The foot bath water only needs to be nice and comfortably warm. Whoever wrote "as hot as you can stand it"- I don't remember where I read that, but I respectfully disagree with them. It was supposed to be for the purpose of opening the pores, but I think too much hot is counterproductive, and it made my feet sore.
I think it wise to keep in mind that some folks' feet are less sensitive, and some folks can't even feel their feet- I have relatives who cannot. So I would test the water temp first with hands and decide whether it's too much heat or not- If you can't stand to leave 'em in it without taking them out for relief, IMO it's too hot.
Lastly (Am I wearing you out? :)), there is a great need to drink lots of water if you want this to work well. From what I am seeing, this foot bath *really* races your Lymph system to clear it, and it takes "available internal water" to rinse out those channels. I am downing about 8 16-oz glasses per day (I think), and an extremely dry throat in the middle of the night will wake me up and remind me if I don't. Or I'll wake up with a sinus headache from the dryness.
Well, there you go, can't think of anything else, please keep us posted, OK? Best of luck to your Sweetiefeet :-).
Good Health to All of Us,
Ladylove
