Where does the bible state God ---Causes--- our Suffering?

Did you forget to read Leviticus where God gave us the Free will choice to choose Life or Death this Day?

Choose Life so we may received Blessings.

But if we choose Death(Bad) choices we shall surely receive Cursings, which shall lead to Suffering of our own making.

All God did was set in motion certain Absolutes that govern our universe and when we are Stupid enough to make Bad choices, we shall surely receive the Cursings that go along with us making these bad choices.
