Thanks for the information and for the article. I am even more confused now - it sure does seem to contradict a lot of what is spoken on this forum over and over, and I had NEVER read before that it can cause cancer! Hmmmm. Interesting.

I am still taking the cayenne, but backed off on the dose and make sure I eat something within an hour of taking it. No more problems, I am glad to say.

I will keep a lookout for tummy issues. But taking cayenne just "feels" right to me as I have such a problem with sluggish blood flow and digestion. It seems to speed those things up a bit.
