I'm saying they mean the purpose of mankind's existence is to glorify God, like thornsandnails said. That's a great purpose for mankind, isn't it? If we are vessels of mercy, we will benefit greatly, beyond words, in our purpose to glorify God. If we are vessels of wrath, not so much.
