I think a lot of different things contributed to me having candida. Birth control pills, a heavy dose of anti-biotics, heavy duty drug use/drug addiction, chain smoker/nicotine and constant over-consumption of sugary/starchy/floury foods. I do feel like I was fairly bad off, because of my energy levels, lethargy, brain fog, lack of motivation/willpower, itchy skin, anxiety... I knew something was wrong with me, I just didn't know what...
