First off you need clean water to put into your ionizer. I use my ozonator. It works great and was less than $100. The make is Enaly and comes with an air dryer to increase ouput.
I found pvc by the foot was really hard to find. I found a 3" coupler which was the perfect size and cut to length. If you can find a 2" that would makes things even easier.
Instead of stuffing the chamois in the tube, I bought a 3" pvc cap, cut off a slice about 1/2" wide. So i have a 3" ring that is 1/2" wide. now if you cut out a portion of the ring you can fit it inside the coupler. Now you can put a peice of chamois around the ring so it creates a thin membrane inside the coupler. and now you only need a small piece of chamois.
I used aquarium silicone to seal the coupler, and then hot glue to hold the two jugs together. Aquarium silicone seemed like the safest thing i could find.
