I had a twitching eyelid for months on end. It just about drove me nuts! It was my left eye, and I also did feel something weird on my upper lip, but it wasn't as bothersome so I don't remember it much. I don't know if it's coincidence, but it went away when a chiropractor massaged the back of my neck on the opposite side of the problem eye - there's a tendon a couple inches to the side of the spine that was tight there. And also she squeezed and massaged the pressure point between my thumb and forefinger on the opposite hand of the offending eye. Could be coincidence, like I said, but worth a try, right?
