..first Sami, please let me thank you thank you thank you for taking your valuable time to extend a hand and help me with this.
..I wondered about that, or if I should possibly place a load resistor across the charger output, but the problem is, not one of the folks who has built their own of these foot baths has ever mentioned having to do such a thing to their charger in order to get it to operate. Not even one, nowhere I have found (Of the very few places I could locate on the web). Plus batteries can have a bad habit of exploding, which I don't trust.
So I am reduced to asking those who *have* built a working footbath exactly what they are using.
I'll tell you what, what I would really love is for your Dad to get on here and talk about what he did to that power adapter to use it in the obviously-working footbath you all made. Is there any chance you could get him to do that? (Or to PM me, because he might not want to post it for various reasons..)
It's really funny, I can troubleshoot the harness of a car installed or out, find the trouble and correct it, or troubleshoot a broken computer system and fix the thing, but when it comes to this type of heavier power circuit stuff, I am a real wuss, lol.
Well, I think I have a couple of gelcells around here somewhere (Just moved here and don't have the endless supply of odds-and-ends one usually accumulates over years in the same place- Alas :)).
Sami, I really appreciate your effort, and I will try this as soon as I can dig up a rechargeable battery to try it with.
God Bless you, my Dear.
Stay well,
Ladylove :)
