I remember back when I was really little, about 4 or 5, my Dad had a Telescope and we would look at the Sun (through a filter of course) and at that time there were TONS of Sunspots all over the Sun, large and small.

*I guess there wasn't much reason for it to be an issue back then...

^*i.e.-as in: Almost nothing back then was Computerized (except what very little the Gov had) no one had to worry about Satellites/Computer chips getting fried and shutting everything down*
